Job Description

We are looking for talented CNC Machinists for our Mill and Lathe departments. You will be a part of a growing manufacturing company and will carry the primary responsibilities of:
  • Operation of one or more CNC machines under the direction of supervisors
  • Load and perform simple program edits as required
  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure specifications are met
  • Blending of surfaces & applying/removing excess material with hand tools or machinery
  • Set-up & use of various machine, fixtures, & tools
  • Must follow production specifications in regard to assembly of new manufactured parts
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Control
  • Machine Maintenance
  • Work from production orders to perform designated operations
  • Understand material identification and inventory awareness
  • Process all necessary adjustments to machines (offset wear & geometry)
  • Follow work order and blueprint instructions during machine setup
  • Suggest and perform process improvements
  • Maintain safe work environment by following company safety procedures
  • Fill out routine paperwork: inspection sheets, tooling sheets, time sheets etc.
Additional Job Details

  • Ability to perform CNC machine operations working from blueprints, drawings and procedures
  • Ability to perform quality checks using veniers, micrometers, peco and cmm.
  • Understand and operate FANUC controls
  • Follow oral and written English instructions and basic reading, writing and math skills
  • 3 – 5 years related work experience or college related experience
  • Read and understand basic part programs
  • Willingness to work in a team based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine: 1 year (Preferred)
