Maintains and updates low voltage system standards and specifications. Provides second level support for IT Facilities Planning Staff. Provides project engineering on multiple simultaneous projects. Works with Network Services, Telecommunications Services, and Operations Administration staff to develop relationships. Oversees low voltage system contractor, inspect all installation work for compliance to Cleveland Clinic and industry standards.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration.
+ Applicable certifications within healthcare and information technology are preferred.
+ Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) certification as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) preferred.
+ Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
+ Six Years of Communications Systems Technology experience may be substituted for a degree.
+ Four years of network planning and design and/or network installation experience.

+ Individual must be able to work in confined spaces.
+ Physical ability to move heavy equipment as needed.
+ Individual will, at times, be required to work during off hours.
+ Ability to use telephone, computer and office equipment.
+ Normal/corrected vision and hearing.
+ Physical ability to operate a vehicle and transportation to travel between facilities as needed.
