This Cleveland, Ohio employers is seeking experienced, full time Controls Project Engineer. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following essential duties & responsibilities:

Discusses project with Supervisor, Sales, Manufacturing and Applications Engineer to review functions of machines and equipment.

Specifies hardware requirements and components of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication devices.

Develop Ladder Program for machine control. Familiarity with all aspects Fanuc CNC development, commissioning and start-up for specific machines.

Confers with Industrial Equipment Assembler & Wirer to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems.

Reviews schematics for accuracy make necessary edits for final build of machine.

Start-up and run-off of equipment in house or at customer location.

Working with Sales Team and customers regarding machine functionality and operation.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with the following software packages:

Fanuc Ladder III, Fanuc custom macro programming, Fanuc Robotics Handling Tool, and Fanuc Picture.

Rockwell Automation, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
