Our Northeast Ohio Client is seeking a Quality Manager.
Responsible for managing the overall quality standards and protocols for the organization’s product lines and serves as company interface to customers on all quality related issues.
Develop and document Quality Assurance and Quality Control planning to meet company standards and goals.
Manage the Quality Assurance staff which includes selection, development and evaluation of the staff.
Act as a management representative for QMS.
Develop systems and processes to monitor and audit quality standards implemented for the organization to include all applicable ISO Standards.
Interface with external customers as needed in order to assure the quality standards established for the project are properly implemented.
Maintain quality system applicable to subcontractors in accordance with company requirements and standards.
Manage NCR and MRB process.
Perform other essential tasks as assigned and accept work assignment(s) and projects which could require additional training.
Continually contribute to and supports the improvement of process and continuance of quality programs, ensuring effective efforts are made at all times to accomplish the company's mission.
Provide requirements on manufacturing techniques to meet specifications and non-standard practices.
Serve as contact point for customer inspectors scheduling and handling on-site visits.
Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased materials, subcontracted components and final product to customer meets project specifications and ASME Code standards.
Provide feedback on methods to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process to avoid problems that may result in warranty/back charge costs.
Create a safe work environment and adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental programs.
Prepare annual Quality Department budget.
