Job Description

The Marketing Administrator reports to the Sales & Marketing Director. The Marketing Administrator is responsible for assisting in all areas of marketing strategy, from development of different elements to their execution. This will include anything from assisting with market research to organizing the distribution of literature, or helping organize events. The Marketing Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining the Arzel websites and other social media marketing tools and managing inquiries generated by visitors to the website.

Marketing Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in writing and editing sales and marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content.
  • Maintain the Arzel websites and manage customer inquiries generated from the website.
  • Responsible for e-marketing and the Arzel presence on all social media, such as updating the Arzel Facebook page, insuring search engine optimization for Arzel products and website, blogging etc.
  • Write and distribute press releases and produce media kits where required.
  • Act as liaison between advertising agencies and the company, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services.
  • Provide assistance in terms of design and logistics to events like distributor meetings, seminars, exhibitions and trade shows, webinars and Comfort College.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing communications activities & provide IT support as needed.
  • Provide support for Government lobbying efforts.
  • Perform CRM administrative work such as data entry, cold calling, list uploading, list cleansing, reports, order entry etc.
  • Maintain the inventory of promotional items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Marketing Administrator Skills
A- A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration.
B- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and good copy-writing skills, preferably in a technical field would be an advantage.
C- Web maintenance / e-marketing experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings and search engine optimization is desirable.
D- Able to demonstrate product awareness and an understanding of the needs of the customer.
E- Able to work individually as well as part of a team with good time management and planning skills.
F- Able to meet multiple project deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail.
G- Able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing principles.
H- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Apple / Mac graphics design and MS office suite is required.
I- Willing to travel occasionally in support of promotional activity.

Experience:

  • Social Media Management: 4 years (Preferred)
