Job Description

Territory Sales Manager 
National Tobacco Company (NTC) currently has an opening for a self-disciplined Outside Territory Route Sales Manager. This position is responsible for establishing distribution and developing brand awareness of NTC products. The territory includes the geography in and around Cleveland, OH. 

This position is paid a salary and is eligible for a year-end performance bonus. 

Job Requirements:
5-7 years successful outside selling experience at retail, wholesale, or regional chain headquarters levels. 
Bachelor's degree or other combination of education and experience. 
Extensive travel with some overnight stays is required. Attendance at weekend trade shows and meetings may be necessary. 
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) applications with the ability to learn National Tobacco Company (NTC) computer based sales call reporting system. 
Requires good math skills for working with customers on invoicing, credits and returns. 
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. 
Must be able to lift and carry product cases, sales displays, and promotional materials up to 35 lbs. 
Overnight travel is required: Approx. 40% 

Primary Responsibilities:
Identify, call on, and manage retail, wholesale and designated chain accounts for the purpose of expanding distribution and increasing sales volume. 
Identify sales opportunities in all retail trade classes and execute quality sales calls to increase product visibility, availability and adult consumer takeaway at retail.
